16-Year Old WizKid
What did you do when you were 16 years old? Play games, attend or bunk classes, hang out with friends, enjoy life, etc. But did you ever think of becoming millionaire at 16? The answer will be ‘no’. But Mohammad Ali, the extra ordinary talented young student from Dewsburry Yorkshire started his first company at the age of 12. He earned £40,000 from the video game and financial app that he created. This was unbelievable. What’s next? This 16-Year old boy rejects rs 42 crore offer for a website he designed in his bedroom
Now at the age of 16 he rejected £5 million i.e. 42 crores offer for a website that he designed. Ali developed a price comparison website weneed1.com in partnership with a 60 year old Chris Thorpe. Basically it is a money saving and price comparison website and can be very useful in future. He rejected this offer in the month of December just before Christmas.
Here’s his logical reason behind the rejection of the offer.
Ali says “We met the investors in London, they were a global data driven company, and they didn’t realise I created all the technology involved.”
“ The main reason we rejected the offer was because, if the technology and concept is worth millions already, just think how much it will be worth once people use it. The big thing what we’re doing is that there are no competitors- this is real-time money saving expert- it’s like a Bloomberg for general public.” he added.
Ali took a big risk in rejecting this offer. But he is confident on his path and he wishes to make the website a household name and want to earn much more than Rs 42 crores. Ali claims that this website offers real-time quotes and not the pre-fixed ones that other insurance websites offer. This is the reason why weneed1.com has a great scope in future.
We wish him good luck for his future and praise his achievement.
